Pension Bergkrista is a quaint comfortable property in Helingblut. We got a large room with a small kitchen ( which we didn't use) and what looked like a sauna! We could easily walk everywhere and the chair lift is right next door.
Breakfast was decent and the owner was delightful to chat with.

I can see some negative comments about the bathroom and I dont know how big you are but for reference I'm 192cm/115kg and had zero problems using the very clean bathroom.

For us very conveniently located 50 m from Alpe Adria Trail. Feels like an old guesthouse with new owners who bring new life. Everything was clean, the owners pleasant, breakfast good and own restaurant in the evening is a huge bonus. Credit card payment accepted.
Amazing stay! This is a very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings, very friendly host and the room was large and comfortable and the bed was good as well, good but a bit basic breakfast, the resturant in the evening served amazingly good food and it was also as for the rather inexpensive. Great location for stopping after driving the Grossglockner road, easy to park , while next to the road the ftraffic was not disturbing and but dies down in the evening
Really cosy place. Small rooms, excellently arranged to make maximum use of a small space. Great location, only minutes from Grossglockner alpine road. Nice views from our balcony. Nice breakfast also. The host and hostess were very friendly and kind.
