the owners of the hotel run "Pension" where the make you feel at home, really try to understand what is you want from them, then try they to provide the requested within what is reasonable to be expected. on top of that; It is a wonderfully traditional, non-pretencious authentic Austrian Pension feeling, where they make you feel at home. On arrival the reception is like a warm blanked of welcomness
It is clear what they offer, and this is perfectly in line with the price; if I look at price /quality,and Price/product& service comparison, you really get quality, good room everything clean and service level that is well over what I expected.
So what did I like: the above, and in the evening after return to hotel, the reception and admosfere of a causy living roo feeling where we all (that wanted) discussed the adventures of the day.

The owner was extremely friendly and goes out of her way to accommodate the guests’ wishes.
The apartments are beautifully renovated and have very comfy beds. The breakfast buffet was more than we could have asked for. There’s attention to detail in everything.
Pension Sonnenheim enjoys a peaceful location a 5-minute walk from the center of Gmünd and a 15-minute drive from the Innerkrems in Goldeck and Katschberg Ski Areas.

We stayed 4 nights in the 2-person apartment. Nicole gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us tips about things to do. It is close to the Katschberg ski slopes (15 minutes by car), the center of Gmünd is a 5 minutes walk, just like the Spar supermarket. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We will come back again :)

The sauna was perfect, we loved the gym and the pool and the great location. We had lovely mountain view. It's very new and clean. Personel really friendly. Super location, highly recommended. Restaurant is good too. And the "brotchen service" (you order in advance and they hang croissants at your door) Very nice there was linnen included ánd the Lungaucard! It saved us a lot of money (Ziplining at
Outdoorparc Lungau, up by cablecar and visited Sloss Mauterndorf, you can also go minigolfing or visit different pools for free)
Top location. The host are very friendly, App is very close to ski slopes. Nice walking paths through the woods. You need to visit Pritzhütte. The hosts let us stay until afternoon on the day of checkout.
Check in was quick, we’ve been upgraded to a bigger apartment. Location is perfect for hiking, but also walkable distance to the city center, the panorama is priceless. Owners are very kind and helpful. Dogs are welcomed for an extra cleaning fee. Had some problems with the hot water supply, but owners take care about it.
