As soon as we stepped foot in the hotel, we were amazed by the warmth and friendliness of the environment and staff. The location is absolutely beautiful, with mountain views all around the hotel. We arrived to the hotel quite late after travelling all day so even when the kitchen was about to close, the manager extended the kitchen times so we could have a family meal. The food was amazing, with a range of traditional dishes that me, my husband and kids all loved. Furthermore, the room was outstanding with a view of the mountains, clean and tidy environment and quite and relaxing surroundings. The manager was lovely to speak to and since we haven't been to Austria in over 10 years, we were a bit lost on what we could do, so the manager gave us recommendations of what there is to do in the area and overall really made sure our stay was extraordinary. I couldn't recommend this hotel more, I would definitely stay again!

The wonderful staff, friendly communication, simple but very nice and tasty breakfast. outstanding place by itself. From all of our experience it was the most cosy stay! Dog friendly also. Many places around where to walk with dog and of course hiking too. Guest card is very convenient for that!

Martin and his whole family are super nice and welcome me like a friend. I arrived in the afternoon and was very hungry. He cooked nice food for me and also recommended me some places to go. The room offers nice mountain view and I like it soooo much!

I really like that the host was friendly and so hospitable towards us.
She took the time to speak with us and find out our itinerary for the next few days. Through the conversation she gave us good advice for our drive to Munich which we wouldn’t have known through Google.
When she found out that we would leave earlier and miss breakfast, she kindly packed us a lunchbox that had plenty of food.

Amazing views in a very quiet town of Austria.
Now I am just typing to see the bar in the bottom of the textbox turn green, it was always my dream and I as I type more I see it coming to fruition, oh and there it is.
We were very happy with the friendliness and flexibility of our hosts. We had a great stay. The view was beautiful.
There's a supermarket close by and restaurants in the village.
In the summer there is also a lift in the village.
Unfortunately we were too early but we got the tip from the hosts to go to the festival in Zell am Ziller.
That was great.
The bed rooms were good and the seat in the kitchen is perfect for playing board games with the family.
Beautiful decoration, perfect facilities, caring and friendly attitude of the hosts and personnel, they have thought in advance of everything i might need. Delicious food starting from breakfast and finishing dinner menu. Top class spa area, panoramic view from the sauna and rest area, everything left the best impression. If i would need still to mention one thing i would say about attitude - they are obsessed with what they do and they really are the best. I wish everyone to try this experience at least once.
The Host was really kind person, helpful and hospitable. The hotel is localized next to the Hochzillertal Bahn, in the centre of the town. The room was big, with amazing view from the windows, comfortable beds, toilet and bathroom. Everything propely prepared and well-organised. The breakfasts were tasty with a vast variety of options for everyone. Even the served milk was from local cows!
I really recommend the Hotel and Kaltenbach for everyone, who seeks Tirol atmosphere and quiet place to take a rest in the surroundings of Alps.
