There are no negatives with this place! 100 % wonderful. The owner was extremely nice and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and tasty. The rooms were quiet and the bed comfortable. A positive and pleasant experience all the way around.

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant.
We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice. It was rather easy to park our cars. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere (dinner). We would probably stay there again, if ever in the area.

We loved the warm and very welcome by their female receptionist. Lovely atmosphere at this family driven hotel cares a lot about their guests. We had a very clean and nice room on the top floor.

The holiday home was a nice little place in a quiet town with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very nice well-equipped apartment with little garden + pool. Friendly hosts who welcomed us warmly.
We are 5 people with our three big girls (two young adults, one teenager, and a dog). Two of the girls slept in bunk beds in a room connected to the kitchen, and the last one slept in the living room. We parents slept in the bedroom.

Everything was perfect! The host were very nice and welcoming, they even let us do the check-out after the scheduled time. The house was big, clean and very cozy. We were a family of 5 and it met all our needs. The living room/second bedroom is completely automatized with a smart TV. Very well equipped kitchen, with oven, toaster...
The apartment is only a 5-8 min walk to the ski lift and city center, you can even arrive skiing. However, I recommend leaving the skies at the ski station as the walk is uphill from the ski lift the house.
The apartment is very spacious and it's in a great location. You are right in town and you can easily walk to anywhere in town. Bakery, groceries, restaurants, etc. Very friendly hosts. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Didn't hear anybody else, very quite.
