Nice, large room and big bathroom in a house close to the lake. The hosts have thought of everything you might need - a small fridge, plates, knives and forks, kettle, coffee machine. there was also a lovely balcony with table and chairs. The host met us personally and gave us a detailed explanation of all the facilities. We were also able to keep our bicycles in the garden and leave our car there while we did our bicycle tour, which was very kind.
Horseback riding is provided at Frühstückspension Scharinger Hof, right in the centre of Gilgenberg. The guest house offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.

There was no clear instructions what to do upon arrival as the property was locked. Breakfast was too late so we had to leave without it. No coffee facilities in the rooms.
