Everything was perfect. The room was so clean, smelling good, and it’s so comfortable. I had an amazing night of sleep there. Michael was very polite too.
It’s not situated right on the tourist area, which is a big plus for me, but you can go there in just a few minutes, if you want to.

Very quiet place to stay close to good skiing at Dachstein and not far from larger skiing venues as well. The sauna area is nice. The food for dinner was delicious. I ate there four nights in a row and had something different every night and it was terrific.

For us the perfect location: just outside the city center of Hallstatt, so quiet and peaceful but at short walking distance of all the things you can do in Hallstatt.

The room has everything we need during our stay. It is also located in the quieter part of the town, within walking distance to all of the major attractions. I loved the kitchen which has everything we need to cook simple meals. The host also provided fresh bread every morning as breakfast. You can buy eggs, yogurts, pastas, cheese and ham from a small rrefrigerator in the common area of the house. The price is cheaper than the supermarket!

Boutique BnB close to villiage center 2 minutes walk and salt mine funicular yet off tourist path in quiet area surrounded by mountains. RM 16 has windows facing 3 directional-breathtaking views.Jacqueline is a wonderfully warm host and very welcoming.Breakfast has mountainside views and is varied and delicious with fresh made eggs. Nights are virtually sound proof and beds are comfy.An excellent choice- I'll book again which is my best compliment to host.Stayed 3 nights in Oct 2023.
Views of the lake from our balcony were spectacular. Fantastic location, very quiet, well appointed one bedroom apartment. Great value laundering service offered by the friendly, helpful and informative hosts. We cannot recommend Pension Sarstein highly enough and would stay again if we are ever back in Hallstatt.
Nice view, quiet surroundings, short walk away from the city centre, and the host was very welcoming and professional and gave us great tips to visit the region and make the best of our stay !
