The staff were incredibly friendly. Also, the location was a must. We came with a car, and their parking lot saved our life. Hallstatt is not a city to wander around in a car, so there are few, small and expensive parking spaces. Having one in our stay was amazing

Staff is so mean and rude, from my experience the Austrians are so rude but the staff at this place are even worst! If you are going to work in hospitality, you should at least be nice and respectful to the guests. Even from our communication through email and phone prior to the trip, the people answering my emails and calls were so rude. I DO NOT recommend this place.

The couple was very friendly and the location was just by the station which is nice. The beautiful view of the mountain is one of the highlights of this residence. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable.

The room was very cozy and comfortable! The Filzmoos Tourist card that was included in the price allowed us to use the cable car up the mountain and ride in the ALMI (big tractor with a trailer). The breakfast was excellent with many different options.

Very spacious and very clean apartment
For us the perfect location: just outside the city center of Hallstatt, so quiet and peaceful but at short walking distance of all the things you can do in Hallstatt.

The room has everything we need during our stay. It is also located in the quieter part of the town, within walking distance to all of the major attractions. I loved the kitchen which has everything we need to cook simple meals. The host also provided fresh bread every morning as breakfast. You can buy eggs, yogurts, pastas, cheese and ham from a small rrefrigerator in the common area of the house. The price is cheaper than the supermarket!

Boutique BnB close to villiage center 2 minutes walk and salt mine funicular yet off tourist path in quiet area surrounded by mountains. RM 16 has windows facing 3 directional-breathtaking views.Jacqueline is a wonderfully warm host and very welcoming.Breakfast has mountainside views and is varied and delicious with fresh made eggs. Nights are virtually sound proof and beds are comfy.An excellent choice- I'll book again which is my best compliment to host.Stayed 3 nights in Oct 2023.
Views of the lake from our balcony were spectacular. Fantastic location, very quiet, well appointed one bedroom apartment. Great value laundering service offered by the friendly, helpful and informative hosts. We cannot recommend Pension Sarstein highly enough and would stay again if we are ever back in Hallstatt.
Nice view, quiet surroundings, short walk away from the city centre, and the host was very welcoming and professional and gave us great tips to visit the region and make the best of our stay !
