The location is out of a national geographic. Far more impressive than the pictures. It's dramatically stunning. The hotel location is perfect with good parking and a decent breakfast. The staff are lovely despite being very busy with the day tourists.

I will be very honest and try to make it helpful for upcoming travellers. I travelled solo and stayed here for two nights.
1. Reaching here: Its quite convenient with a train and bus. You may have to wait for bus as there are delays but overall it's quite convenient and within 2-5 mins walk from the place.
2. Stay : I was a solo traveller and the single room was quite convenient for me. I hope the washroom had a curtain/door. But it wasn't a big deal anyway as I stayed alone. The couple rooms have doors. So don't worry!
3. Food/ drinks : The sheer comfort of getting something to eat during peak hours is amazing. The menu is limited but you will not go hungry. I didn't try the breakfast they provide with a small fee but if you wish you could grab a coffee from the nearby bakery.
4. Staff: They are the ones who truly keep this place running so efficiently. Always smiling and helpful. Language will not be much of an issue as they all speak and understand English and German both.
5. Worth the money: I think its a good deal..the per night cost for the comfort is decent but as customers you'd always want a better deal :p nevertheless, I recommend this place for a nice,calm and happy experience.
6. Scenery: Right outside are the mountains and a lot of greenery.
7. Be aware that the last bus from and to Hallstatt is around 18:00-18:30.

This apartment is extremely clean and new. Got everything as advertised. Great view and great host. Host is very nice and come to meet us when we checked-in. The view from the bed is super. I would definitely recommend this place. The space in the apartment is very wide, so it is great for a family. Quiet, peaceful, and relax atmosphere. The apartment itself looks better than in the advertised pictures.
One of the cleanest accommodations I've ever been to. Spacious, many rooms even in the 3-bed apartment. Very well equipped. Super nice, attentive and helpful host. It is in a very good location, the attractions of the area are easily and quickly accessible (by car). The view of the mountains from the terrace is beautiful. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Shop is very close. I recommend!

Perfect location and very kind and helpful hosts! The view is majestic! The apartment had everything we needed, was very quiet and spacious. Shops, restaurants are a very short drive away. This was our second time here and we definitely return.
Exceptional location for walking and exploring the neighborhook. Gosau is a fantastic area where we will go again. Herr Reiter was great host and the apartment is really cozy, clean and comfortable.
It has 2 balconies on the opposite sides so you can enjoy 2 views. We were 5 people and the apartment size was perfect. Everyone slept comfortably.
