the location, and the honesty bar. We like hotels where the locals choose to stay. This is a family run hotel and after staying in a 4 star hotel in Vienna and a 3 star in Salzburg in the same week, we vote the Pension Hubertus as our favourite base. For English travellers it’s the number 10 bus from Salzburg airport to Zell am see and a 1.5hr train ride, easy.

Ms. Alexandra makes you feel at home. Pension is low-key, warm and quiet, which allows a good rest after riding the slopes in Zell am See and Kaprun. These are 15 minutes away, but the drive is great because of the views, so you don't mind taking the trip back and forth, couple of times a day.
Great welcoming host, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, 25 min drive to Kitzsteinhorn, parking on the premises, comfortable beds, only a few other guests were there during our stay so the pension wasn’t crowded and the host let us use the common space for some hanging out and board games. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.
Great location, with a wide view of mountains, all facilities are at high standards, made of quality materials, we did not lack anythings! Our apartament was very comfortable, very clean, with a very spacious balcony, we felt at home! Nice and helpful host! So, i highly recommend to anyone who wants an intimate, clean and comfortable apartament!

Very nice and welcoming hosta, ready to help. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable shower, amazing view! It’s very quiet despite the localization on the main street: you get a good rest. The breakfast was good. The localization is perfect: close to Kaprun and to the Grossglocknerstrasse (you get the free entrance :)) Highly recommended!
