Absolutely amazing location. The shared kitchen is stocked extremely well with appliances. The room was extremely cute and felt light and vibrant with the decor. Not a far walk from the train station or old town Krems (~20-30 minutes). The host was phenomenal. She made every effort to make our stay hospitable, and gave us several recommendations when we met her to handle payment.

Very nice and cozy boutique hotel. we stayed there on our way to Schladming from Vienna. Melk was a very small and well situated town. The building, the room were amazing. The breakfast was all we needed, great coffee and croissants. There was no staff greeting you but there is also no need, the room was ready for us.

Wonderful breakfast, great location, 5 min walk downhill from Durnstein‘s main road. The room and en-suite bathroom was clean, there was a locked bike room.

The town is just ADORABLE and you are right in the middle of it. You can drive up to drop off luggage but you can also walk up the cobble stone street from parking not too far away. The rooms are simple but provide comforts you need for a night. The breakfast is delicious and the bread rolls from the local bakery are just WONDERFUL! We did not give ourselves enough time here. You can easily spend 3 days. If you are biking this is a great stay as you bike the Wachau valley. I hope we make it back here.

Well kept guesthouse in the middle of the wine region in a beautiful village. Clean and comfy. Airconditioning worked well (though kept a funny sound). Self service wine cabinet downstairs. Welcoming staff.
Location is perfect in the center of Dürnstein, which is also a great starting point for a trip around Wachau. Parking place was provided at the gates to the town - this is just a couple of minutes away from the pension. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Hosts were firendly and easy to reach.
Cornel and Corina were very good hosts who were very welcoming. Their property is a perfect balance of being walking distance to the heart of the town while also being tucked away on a quiet street. The room was clean, bathroom was spacious, and the breakfasts were tasty. Would stay here again and recommend it!
Location of the pension Altes Rathaus- in the center of Durnstein.We had to wander through winding streets of the old town untill we found the pension. But it only added to the charm of the town.We were met by the host who spoke English.Big room in the old house.Excellent breakfast.Parking place for the car in a closed parking lot.
