This is a basic, serviceable guesthouse in a typical small Gyumri compound on a quiet street. Having walked a bit around the city, I would be surprised if you could find anything drastically better in Gyumri for a comparable price. The room and fridge were clean; the host is chill and friendly. He invited me to a lunch with lots of homemade dishes one day. His little dog is exceptionally sedate and likes being petted. The internet was reliable. I stayed in winter so to answer two of the most important questions: First, the heating is good--it was below 0 outside some days but I never felt cold in the room and I didn't have to wear my coat indoors or anything like that; second, the hot water is acceptable. The host warned me that the water would work only for 2-3 minutes, and the first night that seemed to be the case, however on subsequent nights I found that, if I was patient enough for the water to heat up, then I would finish my showers without rushing and the water temperature would still be high when I was through. Perhaps the hot water quality varies, but I had nothing to complain about in that regard for the last 7 of my 8 nights. Also worth noting is that location is just down the street from the best supermarket in town--not a great supermarket but still by far the best of those to be found in the center.

This is a great place to stay in Gyumri! We spent one night there, but I would be glad to stay longer.
I made a mistake when making the reservation and specified fewer number of guests. The host of the guesthouse kindly offered us an extra sleeping place! It was very nice and welcoming.
The guest house space is very spacious and bright, and everything is comfortably organized. There is even a kitchen where you can prepare your meals.

We stayed at G&S Guest house for 1 night. The place is located in a quite neighbourhood which is just a 5 minute walk to the city centre and square. Lots of authentic dining places withIn walking distance.
The Hostess is a gracious armenian lady and always smiling and ready to help. Her daughter speaks English and helped us make the most of our stay by telling us all about the places of interest and even helping us get a cab to Dilijan at the best price.
I must mention that the garden area is blooming with beautiful roses.
Guest house was near to city center, but in the very quiet street.
Everything was clean and new.
We liked yard as parking.

It was the best stay, Armine is a great host, I can highly recommend her B&B if you're travelling to beautiful Gyumri! A short walk to the city centre, her place is convenient, clean and comfortable with excellent facilities and internet.
Located in a quiet residential area, the calm atmosphere of the interior was relaxing.
The balance between the cost, good hospitality of the host family and the convenient location, close to Gyumri city centre with all the main facilities within walking distance.
The main reason I chose the location was that locates close to the bus centre as I wanted to travel by bus next day.
I had a wonderful stay at Gyumri, a charming boutique hotel that showcases the local culture and art. beautiful Marina was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious ,comfortable, warm, unique and like you stayed in a beautiful Art space.The hotel is also located in the city center, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience the authentic and vibrant spirit of Gyumri.
