Everything was great, The hosts were amazing, the room comfortable and very clean. I arrived for the wine festival and the place is in the perfect location, just a short walk from the village centre.
I only feel sorry for not being able to stay for the breakfast as I was in the rush, the sight was mouth-watering

Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.

I traveled alone but the size of the room was enough for two people.
Brand new room, bathroom and extra large kitchen if you want to cook your self. But there is no need since the owner Arpine is a great cook.
You have fresh produce for breakfast and you can ask for lunch or dinner to be cooked for you.
You can pickup your own herbs and fruit from their extra large garden.

The room was clean with hot water, comfortable beds and the location very quiet. The owner gave us a portable heater to take the chill off the room. There is also a well equipped kitchen area. You can use the washing machine for 1,000amd. It is about a 10 minute walk into town where we had lunch at the fantastic Mood Cafe in the park. The owner speaks very little English but we used google translate.

Just keep in mind that it's a guesthouse so you will share the house with a family (very nice and kind) living there, with small kids. Also, the place is good only if you travel by car, otherwise it's not very easy to reach in my opinion.
