Having that assurance from Vikram that this will pass and there is hospital nearby where they could take me if needed was comforting. I felt I was taken care of and was in safe hands. Vikram even brought the SPO2 monitor and the oxygen cylinder that really helped. So this place has the means and guidance to take care of you if altitude becomes a problem for anyone. Next morning I was 100% back to normal and rest of the trip at Nimmu house and in Ladakh was nothing less than spectacular. Cannot thank the hosts enough for their amazing hospitality.
