Offering a garden and mountain view, Sunny Mount Shepherd's Hut is set in Long Marton, 49 km from Derwentwater and 17 km from Brougham Castle. Beautiful scenery all around, shepherd hut was perfect, so cosy!! The bed was so comfortable, we loved everything about our stay x

Everything you could need for a few nights away. Couldn't fault Dawn, she was excellent help before during and after. Wonderful host.

This mobile home consists of 1 living room, 3 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. The caravan is very spacious and modern with comfortable beds. The views over the lake are stunning and it is a 2 minute walk from a great onsite bar and a beach, there are also fantastic water sport facilities. We enjoyed the space and had a lovely relaxing experience.

The tent provides a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. great location, very comfortable pods, everything we needed was there.

Guests will have a special experience as the mobile home features a fireplace. Located in Holmrook, Parkgate Farm features accommodation with a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. The estate was beautiful, peaceful and clean. The owners were very helpful , the husband actually came to pick us up from another place we had stayed in, when roads were closed and even took us to the grocery store! He refused to charge us for this help!

This mobile home features a microwave, electric kettle and stovetop. Location is perfect. It's very close to the villiages around windermere which we visited during 3 days of stay. The park itself is quiet and my caravan is 2 min walk from a petrol station with an express store which opens 24/7. The property is smartly designed. It is not as big as I thought in terms of square metres but each room and facility is useful. Very clean. My family and I all had good rest during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn't find the control panel to turn on the heating system and I called their out-of-office-hour number in the evening the second day. The man said he would arrive in 20 mins from another location after trying to help via phone. Fortunately we found the panel which was behind the curtain in the living room and I called him back to avoid an unnecessary drive. Really a good service!

The unit has 2 beds. Located in Eskdale, 20 km from Muncaster Castle, YHA Eskdale provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The location of this YHA was outstanding- surrounded by nature with lots of walks in the area and a short drive to Wast Water, a beautiful lake! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and helped with any questions I had. I wish I stayed a few more nights!

The well-fitted kitchenette features a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a toaster. The hut was in a perfect location for heading up to striding edge , and with amazing views from the hut.
