It was near the town of Dormelletto but also not too far from Arona ,which Is a bigger town. Camping Rose is a beautiful & peaceful campsite. We hired bikes at camping rose to get into both towns.

Awesome pool side with an incredible view. In addition there are only three units so you share the general spaces with not a million of people. Even more: it is cool to sit there and meet the owner and his wife to talk about the Agriturismo and Italy and the world. :)

Great staff, great location. Outdoors pétanque area, with playing balls freely available. If you're into birds, the owner / caretaker (?) has got lots around, is passionate about them, and will be more than happy to talk about it (in either Italian, or French).
Nice breakfast buffet included (dairy free milk and vegan croissants can be provided instead of standard ones if the request is made in advance).
If you've got a tent, you can pitch it in the garden / yard.

It was very clean when we arrived..Check in was very simple. Campsite is lovely. Staff were very helpful. The site suited us very well. Especially the welcome for our dog and the dog beach!! He was swimming with us in the lake each day. We hired a boat from the campsite one day which was brilliant. Aquaparc was great and good price. Amazing huge pizza slices in the restaurant. Excellent coffee. Free bed linen and towels

This is a great little campsite just to the north of Sesto Calende (Lombardia). It's mainly chalets but there are spaces for camper vans and caravans. There is a lovely swimming pool onsite that you can use for free when you're a resident of the site, with a nice restaurant that is open to everyone. We used this a lot and ate well. There are also evening entertainments.
The staff were great. Susie in reception was very helpful and organised a rental car for us, and even gave us a lift to the car rental office. Elena was also very helpful. When we reported a broken TV they sent someone to replace it immediately.
The cabin was small but comfortable with a nice deck outside. It had air-conditioning in the main room which was very welcome due to the high temperatures. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The shower room was fine once we worked out how to operate the temperature in the shower. The bedrooms were on the whole comfortable.
We felt very welcome at the site and enjoyed our stay and it was good value for money.

Villa Sofia is modern, fresh, clean and v well equipped. Fantastic view from the balcony. Manuela was attentive and super helpful. The memory foam bed is comfortable. Balcony seating for meals. There were coffee pods, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, water, washing up stuff, shower stuff, even washing machine pods. The aircon worked well in both rooms.

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Al Campanile. The staff were amazing and the bed extra comfy, views stunning, spotlessly clean, perfect location would definately recommend and look forward to staying here again should we return..

Lovely location in Baveno, right by the ferry port. Comfy and welcoming room. Great shower. Pleasant breakfast. Handy umbrellas, as it does, in fact, occasionally rain in Italy! Excellent restaurant.
Lovely modern and spotlessly clean apartment. Lots of space and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and air conditioning worked well. Lovely views from the balcony. The host was friendly and helpful. Baveno is a beautiful little place, and you can get boats to all the neighbouring resorts and islands easily. It is a good 10 to 15 minute walk to the apartment up a hill from Baveno, but this wasn't a problem for us.
Excellent location, close to all attractions in Baveno. With good air conditioning and closed windows it is a quite place. Great terrasse with a view of the lake and a medieval church.
Friendly and very helpful staff in family run hotel. They went above and beyond to assist me as a solo traveller. Excellent dinner. Large and clean room with balcony views of lake Maggiore..Good air conditioning. Room cleaned and toiletries renewed daily. Nice terrace to savour a glass of wine.
