The glamping pod wasn’t what I was expecting, it was better. Absolutely fantastic place. I brought lots of camping equipment but it wasn’t Evan used due to simply not needing it. Kettle, towels, utensils you name it was there. Evan some games in the draw. All in all a brilliant place to go for a first date or if you’ve been a long term relationship.

We Loved the hot tub (very spacious for 2 people). We loved the location… being in the heart of the wilderness. We had a meal at the plum and partridge which was also amazing.

Lovely area. Close to York but peaceful & quiet, nice places to take our dog for walks. Our 'dog pod' was clean and equipped with basic essentials. A fan or heater if needed, kettle, cups. Comfortable bed & sofa. Food storage area was available to use with fridges, a microwave, iron etc should you need it. Shower block and toilet facilities were a short walk away, but the area was safe & well lit at night time. There were barbecues to use and a communal area to sit outdoors by a fire. A café next door with a good choice of quality food & drink, a gift shop & children's play area (even though the site is adult only) a bus stop right outside the site with regular buses into the city centre. Place was easy to find and access using instructions given - didn't see any staff on site other than a cleaner but didn't need any help at any point.

Loved our stay in Wallys Wagon, had our very own parking spot just outside the wagon. The log burner made for a really cosy nights sleep , so many home comforts, beautifully decorated, had our own private hot tub that was so warm and relaxing, we had animal's walking by our front door which was amazing to see. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the prosecco on ice, balloons and banners were such a lovely surprise thank you so much, we hope to visit again.

Quiet and comfortable with easy access to local attractions. Very helpful host. Facilities are basic but we didn't mind that, and it's reflected in the price. Enjoyed having our own space in the wooded area as the top field looked a bit blowy! Showers were great. Another time I'd bring a trolley with wheels to make moving our stuff easier, as you can't park right next to your yurt/pod.

Beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. Very thoughtful gifts left. Everything you will need is within the caravan. Quan is a very friendly host who makes you feel very welcome. Very quiet location but within easy reach of local amenities. My children loved playing in the water.

Lovely clean yurt with a very comfy bed. Very peaceful, quiet and private. Great communication from the owners since booking and the hot tub was heated and ready to use for out arrival. We were also left with a very informative booklet upon arrival which included where to visit nearby.
The landlady provide great communication to us on how to enter the property and helped regarding parking. The location is around a 10 to 15min walk to York main boundary wall and then onwards from there a 5 min walk to York minster. The room was very clean with modern appointments: tv (netflix) small fridge which was stocked with some water and a also provided was a kettle and coffeemachine (coupleof pods left each day for guests) . Beds comfy and quiet location. Would recommend. York is such a lovely city.

Furnished just like home with nice, quality touches, not like an investment let. Comfy beds and sofas. Clean. Felt secure in a quiet neighbourhood. Managed to park just outside every time over 6 days. The city was only 15 minutes' walk away, passing some local shops & cafes, through Rowtree Park to Clifford's Tower and Sainsbury's Local 5 minutes. The fridge was stocked with beers, prosecco and coke. Nespresso machine with pods and frother. Easily agreed to extend check-out to 12 noon.
Open plan kitchen living room space with all the appliances needed for a stay, the private secure courtyards, the heated floor and towel rail in the bathroom a nice feature, the large extremely comfy bed, the great air conditioning, the hanging baskets outside of the apartment, the close distance to the town, the ease of access - no fuss.
Clean room. Comfy bed. Facilities great..always a bonus when there’s a nespresso machine in the room. If you run out of pods just ask at reception and they get you more. They were more than happy to accommodate any requests they good. Great location around 10 minute walk from the train station and around the same into the centre of York. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful property, right in the heart of York, we got a free upgrade which was the most beautiful suite with a bathtub in the bedroom, igloo domes outside for drinks and food, and the staff were excellent and told us about the history of the property
