It's a shame we did not spend more time in Wilson's arms, but we were at a Wedding at the Copper Mine. It has an excellent location and food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will stop here again

Scenery was amazing
Very friendly staff. Great breakfast, high quality produce. SPA bathroom was great. Comfy bed. The Retreat was totally private with own patio area. TV easy to use. Great location. Sorted an issue with soap dispenser immediately. Good parking.
We stayed in the Retreat, the room itself was absolutely lovely - the luxury spa bath is amazing! Much preferred to a hot tub as you could easily control the temperature, it also cleaned itself after every use. The bed was really comfy, it was nice and clean as well as the main building. The location was good - an 8 minute walk into Windermere or a 17 minute walk into Bowness-on-Windermere. Staff were nice and friendly!
The retreat room we stayed in was lovely so big nice, it was clean, the bed was huge and so comfy the double spa bath was just what you needed after a long day's walking bonus with the patio area that we could sit in. Had the full English breakfast it was delicious especially the potatoes!
Location was great for shops, restaurants and pubs all in walking distance.
Thanks for the warm welcome from Steve will definitely be back.
safari tent was a great experience for non camping family. welcome pack for the group + dog was excellent along with £10 redeemable voucher to spend in the shop. plenty of logs delivered to the tent on a daily basis ensured that the tent remained warm once returned from days out
everything about our stay was perfect, stayed in the retreat, bed was so comfy, spa bath was excellent and breakfast to the room was spot on, definatly advise this hotel to anyone, perfect!!
The room was spacious but also very comfy and warm. Quiet location at the back of the house with a nice view of the garden. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits :)
Had a cooked breakfast each morning which was very tasty and the hosts were very welcoming and attentive.
Access to a local health club with a gym, hot tub and swimming pool was a great bonus! Especially when we wanted to retreat from the rain!
Location very good - walking distance to the town and local shops/restaurants.
Everything was perfect.
Large cottage, very nice sitting area and dinning area. Very well equipped kitchen.
Rooms were nice and airy, clean comfy beds.
Towels were provided, so was hand soap, some dishwasher tablets and a couple of detergent pods. Vaccun cleaner, washing machine, dryer, dish washer, everything really was there !!
Imagine setting up a stay for your loved one, and you can afford everything.
This describes this place very well. Absolutely amazing, with only the very best of everything offered. We stayed in a self-catered safari tent, most comfy beds, perfumed toilet rolls, high quality cutlery, 24*7 supply of firewood for the quality log burner. List goes on and on.
I have stayed in 5 stars which cut corners by supplying sub standard material, this felt like every bit of luxury.
