Glamping (glamorous + camping) lets you camp with modern and luxurious facilities. If you want a getaway to the great outdoors without giving up comfort, this is perfect for you.
Found this house, when I had to find a place to stay for our engineers, who were installing air conditioning nearby.
Extremely easy to get hold of directions to gain access to keys for the property.
Engineers said it is in a fantastic location, and the facilities were excellent and very warm and comfy.
Would definitely stay here again, when we have engineers working in the area, as we are based in Cheshire.
Customer Service was exemplary!
TOTALLY RECOMMENDED! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
It was really good that we were supplied with some dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods and pots and pans to cook with etc.
The bed was comfy, everything was incredibly clean and it was in a really good location, especially for two people who had never been to Oxford before.
Love the bell tents and amenities kettle, kitchenware, logs, charcoal, etc) provided..also its just double bed which is very comfy...you get heater for chilly nights. All set up with fairy lights too. The location is good too- quiet away from busy roads but still just 20mins from city centre.
Outstandingly well set-up glamping/bell tent, on a delightful little site with a laid-back vibe. We were very comfortable and really impressed with the thought and care that had gone into the tent. Sadly, only there for one rather wet night, but the rain stayed on the correct side of the canvas and we had a great time. We'll be back.
More generally: looks like a good, well-drained site with level ground. Well-spaced pitches, nowhere too far from water, lots of electric hook-up points. Friendly donkeys.
Big and clean room, comfy bed and pillows and very big bathroom with both shower and a bath tub. I also liked having coffee machine with a few pods and a kettle with some tea bags.
Nice area, quiet, posh. Very friendly welcoming staff. Modern clean comfortable rooms. Nice large garden. Apples, and cucumber water on reception. Lounge areas. Great full English breakfast. 25 min walk from town. Comfy beds. Free paper. Everything you need for a relaxing stay.
This is an amazing little site. It’s so peaceful and well set out, every tent has its own private outdoor space to enjoy the views. Thoughtful provisions like blankets, hot water bottles, wood and charcoal make it extra special. Bed was so comfy, we slept in till 10am one morning! Showers are really clean and cooking area provides you with all you need. If Carlsberg made glamping sites…..!
Really nice room and comfy bed. Air conditioning unit was a dream. Really nice receptionist. Excellent location and good value for the middle of the city! Would definitely stay again.
The location, the setting, the facilities, everything had been really thoughtfully set out and Sarah was such an informative and helpful host. It was so much more than a glamping pod! There was everything you could need for a posh camping trip, the Frisbee golf kept us entertained for ages!
The pub is a few mins walk down the hill and we'll worth a visit and we'd recommend Rectory Farm for their farm shop for supplies and their coffee in the morning!
