Peaceful setting, lovely views , but close enough to Bude to visit coast. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Food was great in the bistro. Cabin was clean and comfortable and was done to a high standard. Recycling was encouraged. Overall highly recommended, don't be put off by hippy, mystical overview if your not into that sort of thing, it's still a great place to come and just unwind and relax
Just back from a 2 day stay in Stone cottage, lovely place lots of land to let your dogs off for a good run, would be ideal for young kids with lambs, sheep and chickens roaming around and pigs and goats in their pens. Cottage was cute with all the amenities you need, extremely clean, comfy bed and quiet. They had a hot tub and pool and BBQ stations dotted around and host was lovely, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend.
Only 18 minute drive into Bude.
It was a beautiful and comfy stay, I should of checked where I had booked as there was a flight of stairs to reach our accomodation and being disabled made it a little challenging. We did like the help getting our cases up the stairs
We had a fantastic stay. Monique and Kit went out of their way to accommodate us, even ensuring we were able to eat when we arrived a little late due to traffic. The food in the pub is amazing and breakfast was equally brilliant. The room was so comfy and clean and we really enjoyed sitting in the sun in the little garden outside.
We came here for a wedding night escape! It was so lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle, just the two of us. The location itself was beautiful, it was so lovely to see green grass and trees from every window. The shepherd’s hut was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy! Our host was so lovely and welcoming and even brought us a bottle of wine when she found out it was our wedding night… such a lovely touch! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will be back :)
Fantastic and cozy facilities (apart from the constantly broken shower). The kitchen and lounge was super cosy. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The whole place was clean, the hot tub was fantastic outside and the view was amazing. No TV made this the perfect retreat.
