We loved staying in the wooden camping pods. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate dinner one evening at the restaurant and it was great. Facilities were brilliant for a family with teens. Common rooms to sit in and games to play. The grounds were beautiful and views of the lake were fantastic. Hawkshead village was just a short drive away and it had lovely places to eat. We only wished we could've stayed longer to explore some of the walks.

We had two rooms, both clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfy beds. The shower pressure was excellent and plenty of hot water. The coffee pods a real treat, good coffee for when we woke up. The accommodation was perfectly located for the centre of Hawkshead and yet so wonderfully quiet at night - a very good night's sleep had! Would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a bell tent. We had a bag of wood for the wood burner inside and we paid £12.50 more for a bag for the fire pit outside. The beds were comfy and clean. The facilities incl toilets and kitchen were great. Food & drink to buy on site were a little pricey but not too bad.

I stayed in a 2 bunk-bed room with my children. Everything was clean, including the shared showers and toilets. They do breakfast and dinner, too, at a very reasonable price. They cater for gluten-free needs. There's a game room with a pool table and board games. They are ancient, but still good fun. Only a short drive from many great places. They have yurts and cabins too, they looked great. Self-catering kitchen is fully equipped, any kind of cooking is possible. Many spaces to get together, too. Would visit again.
