The Mendip is on cheddar bridge Apartments, hotel in Bristol

Set in Cheddar and only 28 km from Ashton Court, The Mendip is on cheddar bridge Apartments offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

What a picturesque place to stay with everything you could need. The apartment was clean, comfortable and cosy. There was a little garden for the dog to potter in and for me to enjoy the sunshine. A real home from home and we will definitely be back. David, Tracy and lovely Lola their woofer, are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the caravan was clean and had everything we needed including dish soap and hand soap, which is a nice touch. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed and the location was great for getting to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey hole and Bath city and lovely local walks. Thank you to all at the park.

The room was beautiful and designed to a very high standard. The bathroom felt very opulent and the bed was super comfy. My partner and I had an amazing nights sleep. The posh filter coffee in the room was a nice touch, just how I like to start my mornings. The reception team was super welcoming and always had a smile on their faces. The hotel restaurant provided a delicious breakfast with lots of options. After our walk around Clifton Village, we decided to go back to the restaurant for a Sunday roast, which again, was opulent and delicious.

The safari tents were huge. Really comfy beds. Slept like a log. Fire kept us lovely and warm. Spotlessly clean even though we stayed at the end of the season. Kitchen was well equipped with decent sized pans. Staff were really friendly.

The bed was so comfy and so quiet, and the air conditioning so effective (during a heatwave) that I ended up sleeping in too late and missed the event I'd booked my stay for, and I wasn't even upset about it.

We loved the location of the hotel, it was on a quiet road but within walking distance and close to restaurants and shops. Our room was exceptionally clean and a very good-sized comfy bed and a great spacious bathroom. We had asked for a fan, which was an added bonus as the air conditioning switched off at midnight. Lovely touch of a birthday card and chocolates for my husband who was celebrating his 50th birthday, thank you.

Very well appointed room and communal areas. Comfy bed and modern amenities were perfect. Loved the hot water tap and chilled water tap for drinking. Even though it was next to the M5, no traffic noise came through and the air conditioning made the room perfect for a great night's sleep!
