Nice chill out área, beds super comfy, can't believe this was so cheap. Staff / volunteers delightful. Up til 2/3 drinking aguardiente and dancing bad salsa with some of the guys that worked there (Andres, thanks so much) - a delight.
The location is very good. The central park and the transportation terminal are in 5 minutes walking distance. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet and there was hot water. The beds were very comfy as well. Big bonus was the free water and coffee.
We are amazed by the staff. They were helpful, friendly, did our check in very quick and we had to check out very early in the morning so we asked them to arrange our breakfast as a take away and they were more than happy to help.
The view of the hotel was speechless. We were lucky to be there before sunset and had a chance to finish the day with a stunning sunset view.
The room size was adequate, beds were comfy, bathroom was very clean and modernly designed.
Our stay at the Matisses Hotel was a delightful experience. The hotel is peaceful, perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat. A special mention must go to the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch to our stay.
Staff was great, very personable and attentive. They contacted us prior to the stay and helped us organize several activities which we really enjoyed, such as: hiking, horseback riding and a trip to the San Vicente hot springs.
The location is very calm and natural. The hotel premises were very interesting with several activities and games such as cornhole, mini-ping pong, badminton, swings, campfires, jacuzzi, and a small playground.
I will start by saying that the pictures do not do any justice to this place, this place is better than expected, it is gorgeous! The hosts are amazing and passionate about what they do. From the welcome to their guests to the details in the bedroom and the food they cook daily! It is just amazing, we even had a campfire one night and had great conversations, though I went solo, it felt like I was home. Thank you, Alejandra and Luca, I am looking forward to returning!

The luxurious accommodations and exceptional service made my stay truly memorable. The glamping’s location connected me to nature and was very close to the thermal park. Beatriz was a super host - she made sure that choices for dinner and breakfast were available - the fruit salad was delicious. The location and ambience far exceeded our expectations. The caretaker Esperanza was wonderful and set up a campfire for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. The scenery the hotel pets all added to our incredible experience. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a truly unique rustic experience.
