In case your train arrives very late in the city, it's possible to check in after the usual hours. In that regard, there was good communication with the staff, who sent me a message on LINE with the corresponding instructions for self-check-in. The room is a bit rustic, but it's not bad for a few nights. I found the bathroom to be clean, although I would recommend a slightly deeper cleaning
There was the most adorable dog named KFC and there were also farm animals like rabbits and geese. Breakfast was not good, but great! says 8 year old family member. Close to beach (but can’t swim like a lot of the other beaches on the east side of Taiwan) and walking path. Short drive to city center.
Hotel room is well designed and renovated. Room is spacious and beds are big and comfortable. I like the hot spring tub in the room. Breakfast set is delicious with fresh milk and food from local farm. staffs are very friendly.
I was on a bike tour around the island and booked this place from the side of the highway. Its a rustic hotspring resort where the rooms have their own with hotspring water. I had a private deck with a picnic table where I could drink some beers and enjoy the mountain views. Rooms are nicely decorated with wood paneling. Water is nice and hot, tubs basic but clean. Owner is a friendly athlete and cycling enthusiast who has won lots of races, cool guy. Very cute mom and puppy dog that want to play with you in the morning if you like dog :)
