It was cosy, rustic and very well maintained. Felt very genuinely rustic Swedish, which is what we were hoping for
Rural idyll
This hostel is an historic building at the edge of a nature reservation. There is also a homestead farm in the same area, which has a café, where you even can have a meal.
The little house is wonderful to stay in..sunny and warm. The wet day we had excellent heat pump to use. Adequate shower Everything worked. All kitchen equipment provided. Good map of local farm and forest walks
Fantastic house - a gem in the farmland/countryside. Great caring hosts! Exceeded expectations! Plenty of breakfast - was worth every penny (if you ordered breakfast-pre-delivered-to-fridge - don't forget to peek into the freezer too!)
The house is cozy and well-styled. The house is inside a farm so kids could play and feed animals. From the window one can watch horses while eating. The host is quite friendly and provided toys to our kids. We all family had a very nice memory there!
Our host was welcoming and gracious. She took us on a ride around her farm where we walked out on her dock to an atmospheric lake, we picked cherries from the back of her golf cart, and we picked chanterelles from a mossy area of the farm. One evening she brought us a traditional Swedish dessert that my grandmother would have enjoyed as a child in the 1800s. Enjoyed the hot tub, as well. We sisters/nieces and a memorable trip because of our stay here.
Lovely host very welcoming showed us the annexe which was lovely and a great amount of space for us as a couple. Full farmhouse feel but had everything you could want. Journey to the place from Granna was fantastic. Swimspa and jacuzzi were really nice to use. Got bought freshly collected eggs from the farm which was fantastic. Would have stayed longer if we could have.
