The place exuded charm and character; Luis the owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful (a great recommendation for a local restaurant), and very charming; superb breakfast (even outside on grey morning); superb terraces and gardens with a lovely swimming pool; room had real character onto terrace; did not want to leave. An oasis in a very mixed area.

A little oasis hidden south of Guarda. This quinta hotel is ideal for a retreat away from distractions and stress. The bed is comfy, the room is clean, the pool is perfect, the breakfast exceeded our expectations and the host is very welcoming and lovely including Lourena the cat which is the princess of this cherry Quinta. We stayed only one night because we were traveling, but this place is ideal for at least 3 days as a retreat.
