Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed- comfortable surroundings - and the friendly owners and staff were delightful- and there were even farm pets. Our host Fatima was wonderful and very friendly making us feel genuinely welcome. She was also very helpful with various suggestions of places to eat. The room we had was very comfortable and spacious with a large attractive bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied. We had a very relaxing stay out in the countryside.

Thank you to the lovely ladies who welcomed us and made the stay unique!! If i ever visit this area again, i would stay there without a doubt!! Situated within 14 km of Cathedral of Evora Se and 13 km of Chapel of Bones, Páteo Lima provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Évora. Our host Benedita greeted us as we got out of the car, she was forewarned by her overactive but cute dog Leia; she recruited her daughter Rachel to translate as a go-between for the check-in (thanks Rachel). We later managed very well on our own with a mixture of English, Portuguese, Spanish and a bit of French. Benedita offered us the use of her laundry room for free which we graciously accepted on the spot. You just cannot wish for a better host, we felt that we were treated like family. Thanks Benedita, please say Hello to Luke (her other dog that I wish I could take home).
