We went swimming in the river with the host and went on a short trekking tour at sunrise on the chocolate hills away from the mass tourism. The food is very good and is served whenever the guest wants it. I was allowed to try a lot from the garden ... coconut, fresh papayas and passion fruit :) But my highlight was definitely the freshly made cocoa from their own garden every day. You could drink it all day for free. So delicious... I booked one night but left with a heavy heart after 3 nights. Great experience. I recommend it to everyone who likes to be close to nature. Thank you very much for the great time!

The location was a plus factor since it was accessible to other stores which we need such as restaurants, drugstores, etc.Another thing is the aircon, in fairness, the temperature was according to our liking, unlike the other branches, the airconditioner was slow/weak.

Hostess is an absolute gem. Real rural feel. Lots of animals around. They hooked up a nice scooter. Kitchen available. Free water, kettle. Not far from many good places to eat. Short scoot to some good activities.
Really highly recommend this place. Rustic basic huts, makes it feels like you're in the middle of the jungle. The breakfasts were really delicious, the vibes were super friendly and chill. They have mopeds to hire, and its a great location (can walk to the beach and restaurants also). The owners were so nice, even came to rescue us when our moped wouldn't start. Really really loved our stay here.
Breakfast was lovely eaten outside every day. Hot water machine to make tea coffee etc was great. Hosts were so kind and helpful to us. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. The farm is so beautiful. The flowers and plants were magnificent and such a beautiful place to wake up to each day.
Rural setting. Beautiful gardens. Very peaceful. Small cottages to rent. Large comfortable bed with good quality linen. A kettle, coffee and mineral water was provided. Large shower room and toilet. Staff are helpful and upon my request made omelette and pancakes for family breakfast. I am from UK. I recommend this accommodation.
Maila is really helpfull and service minded. The beach in front of the house is ok / big tide differences during the day. Private sunbeds/hammocks provided and beach is cleaned daily. Tuk tuk to Alona and Bohol bee farm is recommended and done very easy. We had breakfast and dinner once on the neighbor resort Amerela.

Alba's Homestay is about 3km from Moalboal Beach, so you always need a transportion (Albas rents scooters for 350 P/day). But the location is beautiful, right on Turtle Beach. You can snorkel wonderfully on the house reef (better than in Moalboal) or organize diving directly at the neighboring diving school. The huts behind the restaurant are very pretty, rustic but nicly furnished and comfortable. The staff is very helpful.
