Fallow Hut wont be for everyone... its out of town, and has basic facilities... which is why its so excellent if thats what you want. Peaceful, superb views in a lovely rural setting. And its been fitted out really thoughtfully. If you like farmland and quiet then Fallow Hut is perfect!
Marg and Phillip were so accommodating and hospitable. Their separate guest farmhouse was very comfortable and the upstairs bedroom was a pleasant surprise! Idyllic countryside surrounds the property. We loved visiting with Nancy, a very curious horse, and exploring some of the nearby tracks and villages. Last, we appreciated the use of the washing machine to do a load of laundry.
Comfortable, clean, quiet cottage with rural views. We would highly recommend. The owner is lovely and runs a small farm.
Nicole was a definitely the hostess with the mostess! Fantastic accommodation if you want to get away from the city to enjoy some rural tranquility. On arrival there were fresh free range eggs and a freshly baked loaf of bread in a 'welcome' tray on the table. Nicole also provided cereals and breakfast condiments. Good sized bedroom with queen bed and wardrobe. The beds were extremely comfy. The house was modern with lots of space and suited our needs. Friendly farm dogs were a bonus!
farm stay environment, private and peace, clean and comfortable
We were upgraded to a Garden room from a winemakers room. From the pictures it looks like the interiors are very similar but we had a rural view of the surrounding farms. It was very peaceful & relaxing. The room was clean and of a good quality. It had a dishwasher, heat pump and gas fire. The pool and tennis court will be great to use when the weather is fine.
