Kind owner who was sweet enough to loan us ketchup, but gave us plenty of privacy.

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. The accommodation offers a fireplace. Gorgeous location away from noise. Due to the rainy summer, all the rivers near us were bubbling white rapids and looked amazing. The goats, sheep, and chickens on the property were really cute. Also, a great sense of privacy and solitude. Friendly hosts!!! A very cozy place to return to after a long hike. Good amenities in the kitchen, bathroom and living room.
Our room was in a 200+ year old farm house that had been renovated to turn it into a hostel. It was bright and had windows that opened for fresh air. It is on a small working farm, and I enjoyed watching the cows and other farm animals.
Very unique setting, located in the foot of the mountain. The view of the falls is amazing. Old farm house turned into a great place to spend the night in the nature.

Easy to find on road from Laerdal Tunnel (the long one!) in a nice rural location. Previously a farm I'd guess. The room has been created out of a larger house and we were met on arrival. Plenty of on-site parking and an easy drive from Flam to visit the train, boat cruises etc.
It was wonderful to stay at a farmhouse.
We liked the rural location, quiet and away from the village but only a short walk to the centre. We liked the farm animals and being able to walk round the outskirts of Flåm right from the apartment. The apartments look pleasant, but there are a few lorries and diggers on the road approaching. We didn't see any staff at all so can't comment on what they were like, but communication was good.
Absolutely loved our time here! Mara was a wonderful host and great to talk to and very happy to help. It was home from home. The farmhouse is beautiful and the kitchen extremely well equipped. We were the only guests for the 2 nights. The sun room was perfect for relaxing after a day’s exploring. Highly, highly recommend!
Wonderful set of old houses and a farmhouse for staying. Just a 10 minute walk to the downtown and it was nice to be a little outside of the hustle and bustle.
Close to the overlook trail and in a great old farmhouse. Very historic. Very clean and reasonable price.
