Search farm stays in Kvaløya Island

An old farm house, in a great location. Perfect for relax and Aurora hunting. You will have to find your way to the house, but the contact with the owner was very good. Keep in mind there are no shops, so bring own food. And you can get there by bus from Tromso but without a car you will be limited in visiting the area.

Family owned and very welcoming. They take pride in the operations of the farm hotel. A very Relaxing hotel away from Tromso. Home cooked meals were delicious. Great location to see the northern lights.

The farm was a good place to stay, a bit far from the city but we already knew it. The shower was very good and inside of it always with the heat on. The living room was quite big for 4 bedrooms, there was enough space for everybody

The most elegant sheep and goat farm/spa EVER!🙂 Terrific views. Modern, stylish room. Bright, big stars, dark sky. Elegant restaurant. Host, Maria is very good. good level of spice and technique. Breakfast was super fancy, elegant, and delicious. Interesting fellow guests. Extended my stay to enjoy the experience. Hiked up to the cabin on the small mountain behind the farm. Beautiful. And your feet will get wet ;) Lots of photographs.

Fabulous breakfast with homemade products, farm animals around the property. The feeling was perfect here, a little corner of paradise.

Perfect location on the sleepy side of Klavoya. Very quiet. Fresh air. Cute little farm with goats that come running when they spot you :D Maria helped us with an issue we had during our trip. She is very kind, thank you so much.

The facility (rooms, dining area, common areas) are clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The proprietors and staff are very very friendly and personable, and are quick to answer “touristy” questions. The views of the fjord from the hotel are breathtaking, and when you can’t see the fjord you’re gazing at marvelous tree-covered mountains, or charming rural-Norwegian farm houses. Lastly, the food served there was largely made up of local fares (white fish, reindeer, etc.) and was delicious.

We really enjoyed our 2-day stay- wish we had spent a 3rd night instead of heading back to Tromso for the rest of our vacation. The farm is not large. It is up off the road and has a great views. It is a great spot from which to go and hike, do the nearby husky sledding, or other activities on Kvaloya. Food was very good. A variety of things for breakfast in small portions, but overall plenty to eat. Not the kind of "big breakfast" to hold you until dinner, but we didn't expect that, so were very happy.
