Beautifully restored and redecorated 18th century barn with cosy interior looking over te valley. The location is very quiet and close to Lom and the national parks. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

Set in Rendalen in the Hedmark region, Bakken Gårdshus has a patio and river views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The house was very spacious and kitchen was ample and well-equipped. The hostess was very attentive and gave necessary instructions regarding amenities. You have to rely on Your own ability to cook and buy food products in advance, as there are no cafes or restaurants in close surrounding.
Grimsbu
At the farm stay, some units have a private entrance, dining area, fireplace and fridge. A patio with an outdoor dining area and garden views is offered in every unit. At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Great place, beautiful surroundings and the place feels like a home with the living room and fireplace. I was there only for one night but could have stayed longer. I can reccommend to have the meals there.

This place is down right magical sitting alongside a roaring river in a National Park. The smell of fresh baked waffels, the rustic, historic building, the warm smiles of the family running this farm. Delightful home cooked dinner, delicious breakfast. Charming rooms, everything spotlessly clean. Trails at your door step. All guests polite and considerate fitting into this special setting and atmosphere. We loved every minute here.
Great rustic hostel and location. Had the dorm to ourselves which was a bonus. Good cooking facilities which we used to cook a meal in the evening. We paid for breakfast at the main hostel which was lovely.

Excellent value for money, an intriguing setting with fantastic forest (and reindeer!) outside. We ended up staying in one half of the old farmhouse which features, among other things, running water! We'd definitely stay again if driving to Trondheim as the farm is very close to exactly half way.

Very comfortable old style beautifully decorated farm house, and close to Kvitfjell ski resort. We hade everything we needed, including the house cat which came and visited us in the evenings. Special thanks to Maxime from France, our very friendly and customer oriented host during our stay.
