A wonderful farmstay just outside of Amsterdam - stunning scenery, very cute cow-themed room, peaceful and clean. Beautiful walk to Monnickendam and easy Uber trip (or you can catch the local bus) to/from Amsterdam. Enjoyed visiting the animals - cows, chickens & cats. The host, Jannie, is a very lovely lady, and she also offers kayaks/pedal boats for hire.
Breakfast was delicious with farm fresh eggs and soft bread being my favourite. A nice quiet rural atmosphere despite being right beside the cows.
We liked the location just out of town, we were able to walk to the Amstel Metro station and it was 5 stops to Central Station. The facilities in the farm house were good, towels, toiletries, beds were comfortable. Nice quiet area. Ideal for a short break.
It is a beautiful farmhouse (renovated) in North Holland. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated rooms. Very kind and helpful owners. Tasty breakfast. Parking in front. Our green room was perfect for family with two kids.
it was a first and lovely experience for us living in a farmhouse. it was very clean and it surprised me there was no bad smell. my kids loved it! location is perfect not too far from city. also free parking! the host Jannie was so kind and explained to us what we needed to know to get around and also gave us fresh eggs from their farm. will definitely stay here again in the future.
This farm stay was amazing! We are a family of 3 with a 4 year old daughter and we loved it so much! We got to collect our eggs directly from the chicken hut, the view was peaceful and full of green. It was really easy to get to the city just with the metro, about 7 min drive from the airbnb. The bed and sofa bed were really comfortable, the studio it self was perfect. 100% coming back.
This was a lovely apartment incorporated within an old farmhouse set of buildings. The surroundings of grazed polder lands were wonderful with geese, marsh harriers, herons and egrets. Beautiful light into the room in the morning. Great local walks and options to cycle. Good quick bus links to Amsterdam. Hope to visit again
