This is a beautifully restored, working farm house. The surrounding area is wonderful and the attention to detail is incredible. The service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. We also had our dog with us who was also welcomed too.

We stayed in 4 different places during our time in Ischia, but this was by far the most special. Giosué and his family were incredibly hospitable. All the produce they make on the farm was delicious - I particularly enjoyed the jams and the fresh juice. Giosué did a cooking class for us, with local ingredients where I learnt how to fillet a fish properly, this was a real highlight. He even picked us up and dropped us off in town a few times, which went above and beyond. No request was too much, and his family were all so lovely. The three dogs and cheeky kitten were also such a lovely, welcome presence as we love animals. I highly recommend Rate Agriturismo La Pergola - it was the best!!

Set within 2.6 km of Spiaggia del Poggio and 15 km of Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Tenuta calidarius offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Baia. This almost new hotel is in a volcano crater and is really well designed and maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. We were traveling by RV (7mtr.) and there was enough space to park it safely and without costs. From the hotel it is a 25 minutes walk to the beach and there are a few small villages where you can have lunch or dinner. Naples is 25 minutes by car. The restaurant of the hotel has a nice menu card and the prices are really acceptable. The rooms are spacy and some of them has a nice terras.

Surrounded by a well-kept garden only 3 km from the Cratere degli Astroni Nature Reserve, Agriturismo San Martino offers a restaurant and rustic-style en suite rooms. Lovely house in pleasing surroundings. Free parking very easy and plenty of space. Staff were delightful and most welcoming. Restaurant food was excellent and great value for money. Our waitress, Louisa, was fabulous and so helpful. We were only sorry we didn’t get to see her at breakfast before left for our onward journey. We would definitely stay here again.
