The place is on the top of the mountain - it's silent there, nature is all around, and the view is very good. But if you are staying for only one night, do not forget, that you have to climb up the mountain with a car for approximately 0,5 hour.

Stunning location, great farmhouse experience. Elizabeth is a lovely host and was very helpful with local guidance, accommodative with late check in. Loved eggs and yoghurt fresh from the farm. Would highly recommend for stay on Alpe Di Suis.
The property is very clean and had an awesome view. It was a 15 min drive to Ortisei. It was perfect for my family. The kids enjoyed the farm animals and the owner was super kind. I would definitely come back to this farmhouse whenever Im in the Dolomites!
The owner is very kind person. As she presents the place, it is a farm house. In fact it is totally rebuild house with all modern facilities. So it is “farm” house for city persons 😉 Very nicely decorated, a lot of natural wood. Nicely located. You do not need to use any ski bus or your private car as first ski lift is at ski boots walking distance from which you have access to 500+ km of Dolomite slopes! Quiet, you can sleep well. Also undergrad parking and ski room very convenient.
The farmhouse was simply amazing! Everything used was of the best quality and a testament to Luis and Liane’s dedication. Our daughter loved the tiny playground and the grassy slope behind the property. The view from the house was simply amazing!!! Will definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous setting, thorough service, and a tasty breakfast. The location is ideal for hiking and exploring the region, and the farmhouse is charming with loads of character. Note, outside each room there is a small refrigerator, hot water kettle, and glasses.

Incredible place, a beautiful farm with 360 degrees views, warm hospitality, a quite special rural experience. A joint dinner around a big table together with all the guests was very entertaining.
Fantastic host and great, very unique place. Casa 1885 is a rebuild old farmhouse, very rustical, cosy, nicely modernised, located in the small village, with an epic view on the Dolomites. Good size room, delicious breakfast, good wifi. Around 1-1.5hours for most Dolomite attractions and around 1 hour to Venice. Good base to explore the area. Definitely recommend.
