Lovely style in the hotel. Wood and lamps. Felt more rustic and personal than the chain hotels. Wooden bed pillars, slate floors, wood effect floors. Modern shower room . Very comfy bed. Buffet breakfast

The host had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. It was the perfect balance of modern vs rustic. Couldnt recommend it enough

Location was ok at the far edge of the main tourist area. Staff were very friendly Beds were comfortable Didnt try the breakfast so cant comment on that. We spent our last 2 nights of our 10day Iceland trip at Fosshotel Lind and this was by far the worst accommodation, especially considering the cost. Fosshotel is a chain hotel brand here so i cant comment on the other branches. We payed less for a non name brand 2star hotel on our first 2 nights in Reykjavik and it was far more superior to our stay at Fosshotel Lind.

The location is awesome. The prices for which they provide dorm beds are absolutely fantastic. There is very cool, calm and friendly dog as well at the property. The black sand beach is 5 mints drive from The Barn. the Vik town is quite close. the staff is very nice. They also provide you with fruits at the reception and in the kitchen. :):)

The rustic interior

the hot tub with the sunset view was amazing, and the sauna, + location on the ocean front peninsula surrounded by water on three sides, the views and proximity to horses horse farm + the walk along the shoreline, and proximity to the city, the sod roof architecture, and the relationship with viking hotel breakfast + the fishing village nautical theme was special.

Location was perfect. Super rustic charming house. Beautifully decorated with all the necessary conveniences.
