The thoughtful design and attention to detail created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making us feel right at home. Overall, our experience at Kildare Countryside Pods was truly memorable. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the countryside. We can't wait to return for another visit!

Set in Athy and only 6.4 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum, Moate Lodge offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This 4-star farm stay offers luggage storage space and a shared lounge. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. A very warm welcome from the owner when we arrived the property. Rooms are well decorated and clean. Very nice area to walk around with fresh air. The best thing is owner baked fresh scones for our breakfast. Highly recommended if you traveling around the area.

Rural, quiet
Cosy, comfortable, cottage. One bedroom & bathroom upstairs and one bedroom & bathroom downstairs. Rural aspect and about 15 minutes drive from Kildare. Lovely, thoughtful owner. Look for the Fearmore sign on the property as google maps tends to take you to the house prior.

Clean, tidy and had all the facilities we needed! Lovely large double room with en-suite with a lounge space next door that had cooking facilities, an honesty bar, pool table, darts board and TV - perfect for chilling out in the evenings! The complimentary tea/coffee and breakfast items were also much appreciated! Lovely rural location but only a 20 min walk into Sallins where you can pick up a regular train into Dublin. Would recommend!
Comfy well located but lovely rural setting and veryquiet .Very well equipped. Rosemarie was a super host,very friendly with great advice on local cafes etc.
My stay at Moate Lodge was great! It’s a beautiful, old (18th century) stone farmhouse on a working farm. The hosts, Mary and Raymond, are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the full Irish breakfast was delicious. I would gladly stay again!

It was a farming and ranching area and there were sheep pastured all around. Beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. Quiet. The food was good and our host wonderful. I would stay here again.
