Whitley Bay
The farm stay comes with a flat-screen TV. Guests can take in the views of the garden from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. The farm stay offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. We absolutely loved the friendliness and attention of the hosts. Trish took great care of us, especially my daughter, giving her time with the horses and donkeys and making her feel part of the family atmosphere they have in the stables. Unfortunately, Jon was not there during our stay, but still maintained an excellent job with the communication.

Beautiful old farmhouse at the end of a country lane, currently being restored, what a great job they've done. Lovely luxurious bedroom and ensuite and so quiet. Very helpful owners, especially when booking tickets to the Beamish Museum, thanks for that!
Everything u need in a rural location but u have the tea rooms nxt door for meals the golf club within walking distance for drinks & food also the oddfellows pub which has a lovely beer garden out the back. This is my 2nd visit & already planning a 3rd. Fantasric views of penshaw monument u wont b disappointed!
A large & comprehesively equipped hotel converted from an old farm & stables. Pleasant enough, but with in my personal experience, some serious shortcomings. The food was average but acceptable.
This is a little gem of a place. Lovely view of the Angel of the North whilst feeling quite rural. Large car park, lovely restaurant with good food and plenty of choice. Dog friendly and beautiful decor. We will definitely be staying there again. The rooms inside the hotel are larger than the annexe rooms.
Fabulous farm. The room was just what we needed with a little extra thrown in from a travel lodge
The farm , animals and play area for our 2 year old!
The cottage had everything we would need and more. Angus and Louis gave us a lovely homemade cake and fresh eggs from their chickens when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. We were only a short drive away from Beamish ,which was the main reason for our visit, Metro and Durham. It is very central yet so quiet and peaceful. I would not hesitate to stay with them again. The morning we left, we had breakfast in the farmhouse, which was delicious and plenty of it. There is a supplement for this, and it is well worth it
lovely rural location on busy farm lots to see
Stayed 2 nights to enable me to run the Great North Run. Comfortable room in wonderful farm house set in pleasant rural location with super friendly and helpful staff (John & Trish). 3 friendly and well behaved dogs made it feel homely along with the horses and donkey. Plenty of parking space and access to the metro which will take you to the centre of Newcastle and also on a pleasant journey along the coast which is well worth exploring. Very enjoyable stay Thanks David from Bristol.
