Boasting mountain views, Blackhouse Bothies is situated in Balallan, 27 km from Museum Nan Eilean. This farm stay offers free private parking and private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is set 33 km from Callanish Standing Stones. Mark and Joanne were very friendly and welcoming. Great views and great place to see wildlife.
Owner was very friendly and helpful and lived nearby. House was spacious and very clean. Lots of pans and material for cooking. Close to town but felt rural. Nice view.
Grant and Sharon are amazing hosts, they could not possibly have done more to make our stay great. The pod is very comfortable with every convenience (and lots of lovely and thoughtful extras) and in a great location for easy driving to all the best spots on the island. During our stay, Grant set us up with a hot tub bath in the middle of the farm field with the absolute best view of the Callanish stones. Really magical and made our stay! Highly recommend everything and would love to come back
Lovely B&B in the country-side with rural views and a caring, attentive host. The room was comfortable and well-equipped and the breakfasts were freshly-cooked and delicious. The WIFI was very good and there was off-street parking. A comfortable and well-run B&B that was always good to come home to.
