Such a lovely hand finished lodge- every detail was well thought out. The host was so helpful - guiding us to a wonderful local restaurant in Uppingham and chatting about her farming journey. If we are in the area again we certainly would stay again.

Well equipped accommodation in quiet spot in rural Rutland. Two nice pubs a 20 min walk away. Big outside space with fire pit, hot tub. Friendly, helpful host.

We enjoyed our stay at the Barn, it's a lovely property and a quirky layout which adds to the charm. Very clean and comfortable and with food basics such as bread, milk, tea/coffee, jams etc provided along with crockery/cutlery, toaster, fridge and kettle. We were able to park on the drive which is gated and feels secure. Dave and Lisa were really nice and helpful, but respectful of privacy so we felt comfortable and at home. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Always go to Barnsdale when visiting the area.position is good for both Rutland Water and Stamford.Staff are always friendly and happy to help

Location of property. Quiet rural situation. Good views, close to public footpaths. Modern, good quality decoration and appliances.

ideal farm location, rural setting with clean well appointed accommodation. Nice touches, milk in the fridge and some tea + coffee. comfy beds and ideal garden for summer bbq

Spacious and very clean room. Very comfortable bed. Room looked to have been re-decorated and re-carpeted quite recently. Good Continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rural location but very handy for Rutland Water Barnsdale Gatdens Oakham and Stamford. Would definitely stop here again.

A converted traditional farmhouse,very attractive

The beautiful buildings of lovely the old farmhouse . The beautiful conservatory to eat breakfast in with views into the courtyard . The staff where fabulous. The place had a warm and cosy feel to it.
