Situated in Abergavenny and only 46 km from University of South Wales - Cardiff Campus, Hardwick Farm features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This 4-star farm stay offers a housekeeping service and bicycle parking. Guests can make use of a garden. Property was a dairy farm was a special treat for me and my wife who grew up on a farm.. The entire operation was in a lovely setting, our room looked out onto the back field of cows and view of a large mountain. Very picturesque, looked like a painting.. Proximity to Brecon Beacons and Abergavenny only a few miles away was perfect. Mrs. Jones was warm and hospitable. Breakfast was prepared with care and she is a lovely host. Rooms were very well appointed, beds comfortable, bathroom and showers were clean and adjusting water temperature worked very well... Great couples getaway.
Location superbly rural and quieter than home and we live well out into the sticks. Loved talking to the calves. Very comfortable, well presented and peaceful decorated property. Best blackout in bed room we've ever experienced in a holiday let or hotel, lovely. Quiet walking adjacent. Excellent pre arrival info and friendly owners.
Lovey old farm house, tastefully modernised. Very helpful host, well equipped kitchen. Cosy sitting room with open fire. We appreciated the radiators as it was still a bit chilly in April!
Carol made sure we had an amazing stay and also gave us some great tips on scenic routes and lovely walks around the area. The room was very clean, location is great for experiencing a proper rural stay (in a real farm) but also very close to Abergavenny for restaurants and shops (around 5mins). We were welcomed by tea and homemade Welsh cakes, they were so delicious!!
The farm house is well set up with a large kitchen table, lounge and good bedrooms. The country views from the upstairs bedrooms are lovely. It was quiet. Local pubs and Abergavenny were good to visit and good hills for walking nearby
A very atmospheric room in a beautiful old farmhouse full of art and plants. Comfortable bed and a lovely continental style breakfast. We loved being able to see a bit of art being made too. A great experience all round! If you like the pictures you'll love the place!
Lovely, clean farmhouse
Lots of space, very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, large living room and two dining areas. Great situation for walking straight from the front door. Hundreds of books, DVD’s and games available if you want to stay indoors in front of the wood-burning fires. The host Christine was very helpful and even offered us a lift to a restaurant one evening when we had to return to the farmhouse after finding the nearest pub closed.
