Situated in Stirling and only 5.5 km from Lake of Menteith, Nether Glenny Farm features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 23 km from Loch Katrine. Featuring a private entrance, the farm stay allows guests to maintain their privacy. The welcome when we arrived was lovely. The room was warm and the facilities were really good. The location was excellent, great to walk out into the mountains with a view of the Loch/Lake Menteith.
Denny
Situated in Denny in the Central Scotland region, Carr's Hill Luxury Safari Tents features a patio. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the farm stay free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is set 37 km from Hopetoun House. Lovely and peaceful, digital detox, yet close to amenities. You felt like you were miles away but really accessible. Pretty part of the world. The candlelit atmosphere led to good old family fun with board games, chatting and reading.
Stirling
The Barn Lodge rooms are converted barns consisting of 2 double rooms, 1 twin room and 4 family rooms which can either sleep 3 or 4 people, providing guests with comfortable centrally heated rooms with en-suite facilities. As our rooms are out with the house we are room only, no breakfast. There is a restaurant at the end of our driveway serving lunches and dinner. It’s warm and cozy. The view in the morning with the two horses are wonderful.
Buchlyvie
Located in Buchlyvie, the recently renovated Rachel's Farm luxury escapes with Hots Tubs provides accommodation 9.1 km from Lake of Menteith and 28 km from Mugdock Country Park. Our stay at the farmhouse was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. We loved its secluded location but there were pubs nearby. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and breakfast was timely and customized to personal preferences. The place was quiet and peaceful, with cows and sheep adding to the serene atmosphere.
A fantastic farmhouse estate. A beautiful comfy lounge with a picnic table outside allowing a scenic view down the valley. The regency interior was spacious and perfect and dedicated to the guests. An excellent farmhouse breakfast.
Brilliant location, lovely views and lovely farmhouse inside. Shona was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went for dinner at the Courie pub nearby and had an excellent meal - the best stay and meal of our trip!
If you are in for a pieceful and silent stay, pick Jane’s. The farmhouse is rural with beautiful views and a nice garden. While Steven is busy with the catle, Jane welcomes hikers and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is fine. If asked a full plate of salmon is provided, or a portion of porridge and several other typical dishes.
An old farm house with beautiful surroundings and with clean and comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Children loved the possibility to see highland cows up-close. Would return if visiting Scotland again!
The farmhouse is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. The owners of the place are very kind and take care of everything. We had there the best breakfast in Scotland. Rooms are clear and comfortable.
Love the style and the furnishings inside our Barn Lodge. Makes for a very comfortable and memorable stay! Much to our delight, the close proximity to a farm allow us to have a close up view of the Highland cows. The stand alone bath tub was a pleasant added luxury.

Trossachs Barn & Cabin is located in a stunning rural area with scenic vistas in every directions. We loved our two night stay here in the 'Barn', a fully renovated contemporary space. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished, with a fantastic shower so needed at the end of a travel day. The host Tony was kind & thoughtful & went out of his way to provide specific dietary requirements for breakfast which was greatly appreciated. We would love to stay here again! Thank you so much Tony!
The Barn Lodge is exactly as advertised. It is a converted barn made into no frills rooms. It has all that one needs for a simple stay. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom is large and the shower was great! We stayed in a triple room on the ground floor and the rooms are quite large. The rural setting lends itself to peace and quiet, but also super close to the motorway. We had excellent communication from the owner about contactless check in.
