Set just 23 km from Municipal theatre of Chartres, Ferme de Mesangeon offers accommodation in Beauvilliers with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Located on a working farm - the room was in an old stone silo- recently converted into a great suite, it was well appointed with a great view ( AC upstairs is excellent in the hot weather ). Host Iphigenie (in her little yellow Citroen) very helpful and a great host. A very comprehensive supermarket was 5 minutes away and the little kitchen in the suite well appointed so the lack of a outside places to eat was not an issue . Well worth a visit .

Situated within 33 km of Bourges Station and 34 km of Esteve Museum in Ivoy-le-Pré, Les Anniquins features accommodation with seating area. Beautiful quiet farmhouse in nice area near to various lovely castles with a fantastic host - we actually had mixed up the dates but she was very flexible and arranged us accommodation anyway.

Set within 38 km of Montargis Train station and 40 km of Girodet Museum in Montcorbon, ferme pedagogique des pennetieres offers accommodation with seating area. Very nice short stay at the farm ! The family welcomed us very nicely and the mobile home was great for 4 ! Good breakfast with farm products :)

Offering a terrace and inner courtyard view, Petit gîte à la ferme des buttons is located in Rosnay, 30 km from Le Roc aux Sorciers and 36 km from Saint-Savin Abbey. Quiet location, would have loved to have stayed longer. Sonia was very welcoming.

La mini ferme de maëlou is situated in Sermaises, 45 km from Château de Fontainebleau, 23 km from Château d'Augerville Golf Course, and 26 km from Belesbat Golf. We were a group of 5 walking through the area on a 150km hike to Paris so we needed a place to rest, shower and eat. We were offered exactly that, not more, not less. It was spacious, we all had a bed to sleep in. Up front, honest information. A very friendly man greeting us and we could have a hot shower, and go to sleep, with an early morning departure. All good.
