The place is really good but The breakfast menu was very basic, the room wasn't clean, and staff entered without knocking. This was surprising, as I had a great experience at the Amsterdam branch.
Everything, from the rustic charm of the facility to the human warmth of the hosts. Truly an experience of dwelling abroad in an authentic community. There is a saying that « the value of a community is revealed through the way it hosts visitors », well this hostel is a testimony to the value of the Paracuellos de Jarama community.
Walked to all attractions! Farmers market, English Gardens etc. We are walkers though!
The location was fantastic, lovely views of the royal palace and gardens, and very quiet at night. The building is typical Spanish character with a lovely rustic feel to the spacious room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely experience!
Location was great, close to metro and bus lanes directly to center, all needed like groceries, cafes,stores, farmacy etc nearby. Comms with accomodation was also great through whatsapp very quick responses always. New and clean facilities. Kitchen well equiped to prepare essential meals. Also in bathroom all amenities available, like shampoo hairdryer etc.
Location of hotel is super. Very nicely decorated and well appointed, and we appreciated the large bottle of water. The staff was very helpful about finding money exchange, and farmacia, and we appreciated being able to do a late check out and have the front store our baggage after check out.

Elegant hotel that serves the hotel but avoid the hotel franchise feel. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The rates are affordable. The breakfast buffet is nice.
We loved the place- a converted farmhouse a few hundred years old made modern and so pleasant. Hosts Laura and Johan made sure we had everything we needed.
