The hosts, the cows, the cleanliness, the wifi, the sauna, we had everything and more as the hosts made sure we hade sledges, snow shoes, a raclette and fondue set and even gifted us cheese from their own cows. It was a perfect stay that can rarely be found these days. We ll be back.

Eichhof Brienzwiler Berner Oberland asub Brienzwileris Freilichtmuseum Ballenbergi lähedal, 8,1 km kaugusel Giessbachfälle'ist. Kohapeal on mäevaatega terrass, hooajaline välibassein ja aed. A good budget place for 2-3 nights stay in the country side, a good base for exploring the mountains - about 45 min drive from Stechelberg and Grindenwald, 10min from Brienz. A restaurant on site with hearty Swiss food (rosti and desserts were delicious) at good prices where locals eat - it gets booked up so best to book on the weekend (you can have the food also in the apartment if it's full). The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We didn't try breakfast as the dinner plates were huge. The heaters were on when we arrived. A nice Jura coffee machine prefilled with beans.
