Excellent stay! We had a very pleasant three-night stay--couldn't ask for better. The rooms are new and well thought out and designed. The location is an easy walk from the old town of Durnstein so you can get away from the busyness of the old town. If you're arriving by train, the station is right around the corner but the trains are quiet. Breakfast was excellent and prepared and served by Theresa, the owner. Theresa knows how to take care of guests. She answered any questions we had and made excellent recommendations for restaurants.

What a gem! Thank you Johannes Kitzler for a wonderful stay. The place is very clean, rooms are spacious and the wellness area includes a nice sauna and indoor pool. Johannes offered us a glass of nice wine they produce on the property and even made sure we get a packed breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning.
