The calmness and ease, of the place and location itself and the owners. Its an agriturismo; personal, not a hotel. This attracts guests who dont need to party, dont need to be in the middle of the crowds. The availability of a kitchen where you can cook yourself but also get a home cooked (grilled) meal. Good and quick communication, clear instructions how to find it. Good advice of what to do and what not to do/ bother with.

At first sight, the area looks rural and undeveloped, but as soon you settle in your room and see the first sunset, this place becomes magical. Local restaurants Eni Bar& Cafe makes amazing coffee and lovely food. Beaches and bars close. Had a lovely time.

Rural setting, the feel of a hunting lodge but attractive for families too

This was a wonderful place to stay in Vlora, nice and close to a quiet beach but far out enough to feel rural and 'local'. The owners of the apartment were very friendly upon arrival, making us Turkish Coffee and Raki despite the language barrier. The room was great, beds were comfy, AC worked well as did the WiFi. It was just a short stay, but we loved it here and found some really lovely restaurants in the area. It's the perfect place to get away from the business of Vlora and relax somewhere quieter. We stopped by Himare while we were travelling up the coast and needed a fuss free place to stay. This place was just in the village below the owners place with a lively view of the mountains and local farms. The apartment was very new and clean and the facilities like the shower were great. Definitely recommended for a night.

Farmhouse was definitely best stop during our Albanian experience. Mirella and Arjan are amazing hosts, unbelievable warm and sweet. We even agreed with them to have dinner (at cost) and this was one of best decisions of my life, soooooo tastyyyy….
