The breakfast was good, with farm food. The location is very good, in the middle of the mountain and near with the center of Valbona.
It feels like being on a mountain farm/hut. Amazing view from the terrace. Ideal base to hike to/from mount Rosi. Room was basic but clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty dinner.
Great rural view from attached balcony of the family farm, chickens, crops and hay making ,host friendly and laidback
Authentic farm on the trail to mount Rosi. The owners are friendly and helpful , the rooms are basic but species.
Location - stunning, picturesque and a truly authentic Albanian farmhouse experience where we saw our hosts bringing in their cows of an evening, tending the garden and scything the grass. Our host family were so welcoming and hospitable, the sons spoke very good English and provided good local info. We were sorry to only have one night there. Very good value for money too. Highly recommend
Very traditional. View from room was utterly stunning. Really nice staff. Breakfast was all from the farm and was delicious especially the cheese, butter and fig jam.
Incredible location, insane views, very calm surroundings. True rural Albania. Very kind host family, cheap and filling local food. Great spot to relax and get away from the crowds. Good beds but don't expect anything fancy. Far from Valbone itself, 1 hr walk. But it is a super beautiful walk. Pick up probably can be arranged. Very close to the trailhead to Theth, so a great location if you want to be the first on the Valbone-Theth trail or doing some bigger hikes like Maja Jezerce.
Great location with option to dine in the garden with superb views of the surrounding mountains. Delicious home cooked meals with most ingredients coming from the own, attached farm - dinner is a set menu. Its 3km outside town, thus much more quiet, allowing to relax after your hikes while enjoying the scenery. Hosts are super friendly and helpful.
Starts furthest up the trail to Theth so great for early starts in the summer heat. Great traditional food and drink, grown on the family farm. Totally able to cater for vegetarians on request. Rooms are solid stone so naturally cool in summer. It's by itself, outside the village. Theth is more of a developed 'gateway to the national park' village now, so I'd recommend staying here a couple of nights here as a total rural getaway.
