Tim is a wonderful host and his enthusiasm for people shows through in the details of the property: the cottage was perfectly clean and tidy with all the amenities that make for a perfect stay, whether overnight of for several days. He also gave us plenty of information (out of his restaurant recommendations we picked one and ended up having a memorable dinner at Eleven restaurant in Franschhoek). The cottae is in a very quiet and green setting and has a next-door nature reserve walk. It has the rustic feel of a cottage with all the modern comforts, beautiful kitchen with modern appliances, fire stove, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of pillows. Don't forget to buy one or more jars of their wonderful lemon marmalade.

This a great getaway on a working farm at the bottom of Bainskloof Pass. It is quiet but also centrally located, making easy access to adventures up Bainskloof or in Tulbagh, Ceres and environs

Amzing place that is just far enough off the grid that it feels secluded but not so far that you can't get to the town. Beds were super comfy and the rest of the house was well laid out. Had everything you would need. Owners were very friendly. Lovely outside braai area with great views of the farm and mountains. Incredibly peaceful. We will be back.
We couldn't fault our stay Rooiheuwel Cottage - our hosts were absolutely charming and the cottage beautifully equipped, extremely clean and comfortable and the location on the farm was beautiful. We only wish we could have stayed a little longer to explore the area further, but this gives us an excuse to come back!

Property was simple and what I was looking for. Surrounds are beautiful. There are some Animals on the farm which was cool but other than that nothing special.
We had a wonderful stay at Jacaranda Wine and Guest farm. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful. The hosts, Rene and Birgit are such warm kind people and made our stay extra special. We also enjoyed the lovely Rosé that was given to us from their own wine - delicious!
We stayed in Chai cottage. Lovely and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure was great - always a plus! The sparkling clean pool was so enjoyed in the hot weather. We can highly recommend this place and hope to be back again soon.
Farm-style breakfast was plentiful and hearty, staff were very friendly and helpful, the farm is charming and beautiful. Lovely to relax by the pool for sundowners. This is recommended for a farmstay where you can switch off.
There is a wine tasting included at the restaurant, both of which are wonderful.
