For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
A real farm-style environment, so do not expect a 5-star stay. Yet, it provided a non congested stay. Enjoyed it and I will certainly come back. The hiking trail was very nice with an excellent view on a very old quiver tree (kokerboom); circumference +- 5m. A highlight. Friendly and helpful host.
Enjoyed the rural landscape and farmhouse. The hosts were excellent.. friendly, helpful and communicated well about any needs that guests may have. The farmhouse was clean, comfortable and well-equipped as advertised. Very safe location not far from the town.
Lens is a warm host. Not he just welcome us as a guests but he shared with us lots of family adventure and explained the life in Springbok. There is a nice trail to do in his Farm of 2 km. The room is clean and it has all you need. He has a brillant idea to put an electrical blankets and it was lovely to sleep with it.
