Very secluded and quiet in the middle of the vineyard. The view of the Swartberg Mountains was beautiful. The accommodation was very cozy, clean, nicely furnished and well stocked with everything needed for self catering.
Zeekoe is located along the worlds longest R62 wine route and surrounded by the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains.

De Zeekoe had great hospitality. They had animals around their property and kitties that sleep with you if you like and they want to. The property gives you free brandy as a nightcap and has a fire stove in the rooms for the cold winter nights. The food was also A+.

Beautiful view of the sunset from the front porch! Everything was clean and comfortable in the house. We only stayed over one night but everyone in the family said they would have loved to stay an extra night!

Wow! This was an entire house in the country. Plenty of beds to pick from. Felt very safe out there. It felt like staying on a ranch. It brought make memories of growing up in the country. The owner was extremely friendly. Country Folk!

Outstanding stay at Breathe! A beautiful location with a perfectly simple and comfortable home. Waking up to the birds and the shepard calling the sheep to pasture. Warm days spent exploring the farm, the river or enjoying the sun and a good book. Cold evenings in front of the fire or spotting satellites and shooting stars from the luxury of the hot tub. It is the perfect place to unwind and has everything you need to reset. George and Oudtshoorn are both approx. 50km away in either direction - a nice day out to restock food or visit some wine farms (recommend Herold Wines), do some sightseeing or even visit the beach at Herold's Bay. Lisa and Henri are wonderful hosts that will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Would encourage everyone to take some time out at Breathe!

House was big and spacious and it had everything we needed.
For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
This property is very close to a few parks, including a Ostrich Farm. You can also walk to the Cango Wild Life Ranch. It is gated so it is very safe to park in front of your room. The unit has a very big balcony with a huge backyard to play in. It has a nice kitchen with everything you need to cook a full meal, we managed to make a Chinese meal here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a heater only in the outer room, but not in the inside room though so it is a bit cold there. Overall we like it very much.
The cottage is close enough to town for a quick grocery trip, but also far enough to make it feel like a remote farm stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality cutlery and crockery items and lovely rusks to enjoy with coffee. There is enough bedding for cold nights and a lovely braai inside the house for a cozy social.
It was a beautiful old farmhouse style property. Rooms were tastefully decorated with such beautiful antique wooden furniture. I loved the little finishing touches such as the little sprigs of lavender on the towels and toilet rolls.
Beautiful farmhouse dating back to 1935. The hostess, Wilma, was very helpful and friendly. Lots of fire wood supplied 😁 . We will definitely stay there again when in the area. We recommend Blye Uitsig to anyone that likes a farm stay.
