My personal experience and it might differ from person to person. I enjoyed the stay, as it brought back pleasant memories of visiting family on the farm. Just sit back and take in the surroundings or take a bicycle ride (bicycles available) to explore the surrounding buildings and roads or relax on an outdoor day bed reading a book. Peace and quiet, birds chirping….
Location perfect. Ronel referred us to other Ronel for cooked dinner to be picked up. We all chatted like old friends! Hospitality of town incredible. Fantastic scenery for photography. Met local farmers as well.
The house is situated on a working farm 12 km from the tarmac road to Merweville. The view of the Karoo veld from the veranda is magnificent. Travellers who appreciate silence and solitude will feel rewarded. On top of this I was treated to an evening-long thunderstorm which turned out to be a light show. The hosts were very kind and discreet. A big thank you to them!
